With Christmas fast approaching, I thought this would be a great time to get your ingredients together for Santa’s cookies! Although these are not paleo, they are gluten-free. To make them dairy-free, be sure to get some dairy-free chocolate chips and earth balance as a butter substitute. While you’re at it, pick up some cardstock to print a Dear Santa card to go along with the cookies for Santa.
Perfect for any occasion, these chocolate chip cookies will be a hit! Adding the coffee is optional, but highly recommended. One cup of chopped nuts will give the cookies a fun texture as well as 1 cup of crisp rice cereal. Christmas Cookies For Santa

These cookies are also a fun treat to bring to your holiday party. I know I’ll be making several batches to give away on cute cookie platters. You can easily substitute the chocolate chips with nuts or dried fruit. I love that the base of this recipe is very versatile!

If you need a mouth-watering treat to go with your cookies…don’t forget to make a hot cup of cocoa. Here is the recipe from last week for a candy cane hot chocolate.

Now it’s time to print out your Dear Santa card. These print out the best two per page. I would love to see what your little ones write for Santa to read. My little ones are 18 and 16. I’m not sure where the time went, but it sure did fly by. Let me know what you think of these cookies in the comments or better yet, tag me at #marialaurin
